DASSY Enterprise is a registered for-profit  enterprise started in November 2007 by NEZERWA Francois d’assise, Master’s degree in renewable energy engineering, moreover to much professional and technical training in Renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency and energy projects management done in Germany, the Netherlands, South Africa, UK,  etc. 

Its head office is at La Promise House, Kigali City, and it has 20 permanent, skilled and experienced staff, 22 local sales representatives, 22 freelance community-based technicians, 122 local promotional agents left in all provinces of Rwanda.

DASSY Enterprise has 5 branches: Musanze, Muhanga, Mukamira, Gicumbi  and Rubavu.

DASSY Enterprise is specialized in supply, retail, installation and maintenance of all kind of off-grid renewable energy technologies; carrying out services and implementing of projects at the benefit of off-grid customers (households, businesses, community-institutions, churches, SACCOs, etc.).

DASSY Enterprise is currently developing a technical and financial feasibility study of a solar-powered mini-grid for MATABA community, Mataba sector, Gakenke district, North Province, Rwanda.

Among our products, we mention:

1.       Solar products: Portable solar lights, solar DC lighting kits, solar home systems(SHS), solar power (institutional) systems, Solar water heaters, solar street lights, solar fridges, solar pest/insects repellers, solar radio posts, solar automatic gate opener, etc.;

2.       Energy efficient equipment: LED lights, LED TV post, etc.

3.       Improved cook stoves (ICS).

DASSY Enterprise is used to carry out off-grid market surveys/researches, awareness creation and marketing campaigns, capacity building activities to off-grid people in Rwanda.

To date, it has served over 9,168 off-grid customers (households, businesses, schools, churches, SACCOs, etc.) in various solar portable solar lights, solar DC lighting kits, solar systems, solar institutional systems, etc.

For its endeavors and achievements, DASSY Enterprise has received following recognitions and awards:

-          People's Choice Sankalp Awards (2014) by Intellecap,
