What is a matchmaking event?

Business matchmaking is a highly focused form of B2B networking that has become a valuable and integral part of many business conferences as a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. In as little as 20-30 minutes, entrepreneurs and business professionals can identify and launch potentially rewarding B2B cooperation and business partnerships. B2B matchmaking is a fast and easy way to introduce your business to both potential partners and new markets.

 

HOW TO REGISTER

Only for participants registered to the event Unlocking Solar Capital Africa.

1. go to http://solar.talkb2b.net/ and click on the button “REGISTER” on the top-right of the page
2.  fill in the registration form including the password you will use to access your account
3.  select your time availability for the meetings, clicking on “We want to participate at B2B matchmaking session”
4.  fill in the cooperation profile, i.e. what you are requesting and/or offering to your potential partners, or the ideas you would like to share with them.
5. click on the green button “REGISTER” to confirm your registration

You will automatically receive an email confirming the registration. Once your profile is validated by the organizers you will receive the email that your profile is active (and visible online) and you can start selecting and booking the meetings with the counterparts of your interest.

We kindly ask you to register by Friday 28 October or to let us know if you have decided not to participate to the matchmaking event.

 

HOW TO SELECT MEETINGS

The selection of meetings is very easy:

1. go to http://solar.talkb2b.net/ and login with your credentials
2. go to participants (main menu) or “show all” button in the blue floating menu on the left
3. browse the participants and choose the companies you would like to meet by clicking on the GREEN​ button “request a meeting”! (If you don’t see the green button it means that the participant is not available for meetings)

Meetings can be selected and confirmed by 31 October 2016.

 

HOW TO CONFIRM MEETINGS

1. go to http://solar.talkb2b.net/ and login with your credentials
2. click on the "clouds" symbol (My Meetings) on the blue column on the left side and ACCEPT or CANCEL the meetings so far booked and to check your agenda

Please take into account that meetings are automatically scheduled on the basis of the "first-come first-served" principle, therefore we invite you to book and confirm meetings as soon as possible.

The deadline to confirm meetings is on 31 October 2016.
